Dubrovnik President, the best hotel under the management of Valamar in Dubrovnik, participated once again in the Touristic Flower action – the Quality for Croatia for the year 2007, winning award for the second best four-star hotel in Croatia. In the same action one year earlier, it was also awarded with a special acknowledgement for the best hotel breakfast in Croatia. And judging by criticism of our guests, the breakfast offered at the show-cooking of the hotel received only the highest grades.

The hotel is located on an attractive location on a peaceful and green peninsula of Babin kuk, only two kilometers from the old city core of Dubrovnik, with a fantastic view opening to the sea and the Elafit Islands from every room. The hotel has 180 rooms and one luxury suite. Within hotel, there is also a modernly equipped wellness centre, three congress halls, a la carte restaurant, and the beach which carries the Blue Flag, an ecological acknowledgment awarded for cleanness, quality and safety of beaches.

Aiming raise the quality even further, Dubrovnik President temporarily closed its doors at the beginning of November due to works primarily on the central kitchen, which will be enlarged considering the opening of one more highly-categorized hotel within the Valamar group in 2009 – foor-star Valamar Lacroma Resort****, the biggest congress and spa hotel in Dubrovnik.
