During the international CMT fair held in January in Stuttgart, the largest and the most significant European automobile club, the German ADAC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club) awarded the Porec Camping Lanterna with the prestigious Super-Platz 2011 award. Only two campsites in Croatia have won this acknowledgment.

Camping Lanterna won this acknowledgement thanks to its quality which comprises arranged spacious pitches, right by the sea, surrounded by deep natural greenery, availability of all required sanitary facilities, abundant entertainment, trade and hotelier as well as animation and sports activities for all visitors. Lanterna is an ideal choice both for families and fans of an active holiday or visitors pursuing peace and rest trying to escape from the summer craze. Besides a fabulous 3 km long beach, the campsite features a swimming pool complex with sea water and whirlpool, swimming pools for children, playgrounds, four restaurants, three supermarkets and a bakery.

ADAC’s Super-Platz award is the best quality recognition awarded in the camping industry and winning such award puts Lanterna and Croatia on the international map of the best camping destinations in the Mediterranean and Europe. Super-Platz is also an authority, an opinion maker among campers who choose their destinations according to the ADAC’s recommendations and 69% of the ADAC’s members are campers.
