Easter with Valamar

Dyeing the Easter eggs, eating the traditional Easter pastry (pinca), young onions, ham, etc… Delicious! When we think of that we have the Easter holiday in mind. The time when children are happy, the eggs are dyed and then joyfully cracked; a tradition even our grandmothers and grandfathers remember. The English would say. “Home is where the heart is“, and there is nothing better for the heart than celebrating the holidays with your family, preferably while on a family holiday. If you travel through Croatia, from Istria to Dubrovnik, there isn’t much difference in the customs kept from the ancient times to this day and we have used those very values to put together our unique offer for all Valamar facilities in the towns of Porec, Rabac, Krk, and Dubrovnik and the island of Pag.
The offer includes accommodation in the facilities located by the sea, in the vicinity of the centre of the town and a welcoming package including the sweet Easter pastry – pinca. Guided by Valamar’s animation team, the children will be able to choose from many activities, from dyeing the Eastern eggs to looking for them in nature. On Good Friday we will organize a special dinner with fish specialties and a rich buffet breakfast and dinner with traditional fish delicacies will cheer you up on Easter Day.
To fulfil the Easter experience, Valamar’s animation team will take you the nearby church where you will have the opportunity of attending mass. We particularly single out the Easter Fair in Dubrovnik which will be open in the old town on Saturday, 27 March. The Dubrovnik craftsmen will offer their fellow citizens and their guests cherry tomatoes (pomice), wax decorated eggs (pengana jaja), small baskets and many other products. Easter will be celebrated on the central town square in Pore? as well. It will be eventful and cheerful during the entire Easter weekend.
