Zlatna koza - Capra d’oro (Golden Goat) is an annual award awarded by Istria County Tourist Association, and this year, the blog you are just reading is also among the winners:) The Golden Goat is awarded for the contribution in the field of marketing activities in Istrian tourism, and you can learn more about the whole story on the web sites of Tourist Associations of Istria. The first post on Valamar blog was written in June and we have continuously been publishing information, curiosities, photographs, video materials… concerning Istria in four languages (Croatian, English, German and Italian), so this award makes us very happy.

The Blog enables us to inform all of you who regularly visit this site, of the current matters in Valamar as well as in our destinations, and we are especially fond of the posts on some less familiar things, not so exposed in classic tourist brochures, such as the topics we handled in the series of posts “3 curiosities of Istria”, also the texts on Histri, Istrian oils, forgotten Istrian towns, etc…
What to say in the end except that we will continue to do our best to be just as up to date and interesting in the future.
