Two auto races will be held in Istria at the beginning of November. Each is special in its own way.

The international “Exide Istra Challenge 2009″ 4×4 race, which will be driven across the playful landscape of the Istrian hinterland, will be held from 2 to 7 November. From Tinjan, along the Lim Fiord valley and over the Buzet and Gracisce surrounding area, the drivers of the four-wheel vehicles will demonstrate their skills on the uneven Istrian terrain. More than forty vehicles from ten European countries will participate in the race.

Loud sounds of the engines will echo through the town of Porec from 13 to 15 November during the 10th auto rally Porec. Experienced drivers will show off their skills in speed driving on the Porec town parking lot. Fans of engines with a high rpm ratio and furious sound will have the opportunity of enjoying the smell of octane and the high and low rpm ratios of car engines for two days in a row.
