Austrian students had fun at Lanterna

More than 4000 Austrian students (from Vienna and Graz) participated in the third in a row “Spring Jam 2009″ manifestation under the slogan “Legendary at the seaside” during the past two weekends, from 22 to 24 May and from 30 May to 1 June at the Porec Lanterna Tourist Village. Lanterna became Zrce during those days. The students had wonderful, sunny weather, and they danced at the beach to techno and other rhythms.
The students began celebrating on a train, organized especially for them, which took them from Austria to Kopar, and from there they took the bus to Lanterna.
The active weekend programmes consisted of whole-day and whole-night sports and entertainment activities. The sports activities were a beach volleyball tournament and go-carting, while the entertainment programme included Austrian musicians, seven DJs, and the inevitable karaoke, Miss Wet T-shirt and Mister Sixpack and welcoming the sunrise in the morning.
An interesting fact is that, just like last year, a famous TV station, MTV Austria, covered the event.
Students thanked us for an excellent organization, greeting us by saying “see you at Lanterna Spring Jam 2010″.
