Air crash investigators in Dubrovnik

Around sixty leading air crash investigators stayed at the Valamar Dubrovnik President Hotel from 10 to 12 June. It was the first congress of that kind in the world and most of the participants were from Europe, but some were from the USA and Africa as well.
The first and the third day of the congress were reserved for the workshops being held at the hotel, while the second day included exercises at the sea and a gala dinner at the Valamar Dubrovnik President Hotel terrace.
The emphasis of this diverse workshop was on the underwater processes and especially on locating the „black box“. The purpose of this workshop was to ensure the development of experts within the European investigation institutions and to encourage their mutual collaboration through exercises at the sea and analyzing past experiences.
