From August 12,2008 you can enjoy the attractiveness of the folk Mediterranean festivity and close-harmony singing on the Rabac coast. The more enduring persons can show their skills in rope pulling, post climbing to get a prosciutto ham and race with fish crates. Those who prefer dance at the sea coast will have good time listening to a music band. Simply, recognize old fisherman’s item and win a prize.

As we are very rich in tradition and customs, you will see our traditional dance Balun in live performed by the Rabac Cultural Club RKUD Rudar and get acquainted with our local products. Honey and wine will be presented at nearby stands and a prize contest will be organised by the National Museum Labin.

With a taste of sea and salt watch arrival of fishing – boats with pilchards and then taste them grilled. It is said that fish has to swim three times, i.e. first time in water, second time in sea and third time in wine, after tasting grilled fish enjoy the third one – good Istrian wine.

At Rabac Festivity you will fishermen mending their nets and you can also enjoy sailing by a boat in the Rabac bay.
