Rabac

I can’t believe August is coming to its end. It seems as if only yesterday the summer started, as well as the concerts, festivities, swimming, sunbathing, going out in the evening… Indian summer, to me the most beautiful time of year, is slowly approaching. We have prepared various events and exhibitions in the weeks to follow as well. Good music will be expecting you at the promenade in Rabac on 27 August where Trio Boom will be entertaining you (from 9 to 11 pm) and you will have the opportunity of enjoying the concert performance by the Labin town orchestra in the old town of Labin near the parish church on 30 August at 9 pm. For all fans of good food, a manifestation called “What our grandmothers cooked” (Ca su kuhale nase noni) is awaiting you at the Rabac waterfront on 6 September.

We invite those who love cars, especially old timers, to come to the ninth in a row Fiat X 1/9 Bertone Croatia Tour in Rabac on 12 and 13 September. It is, as the name itself indicates, an international gathering of old timer Fiat X 1/9 Bertone vehicles which will be displayed at the Rabac waterfront. The traditional two-day manifestation will gather participants from Italy, Germany, Austria, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia.

For all culture fans, we have important information concerning the dates of exhibitions:

  • 13.08. – 15.09. – Labin Town Gallery – “Golden Trash” - Lars Torvaldsson
  • 17.09. – 24.09. – “Ozivimo spomenik rudaru” - Kristina Leko
  • 05.09. – 15.09. – Alvona Gallery – Tamara O’Byrne
  • 16.09. – 25.09. – Alvona Gallery – Sandra Nemajsic
  • 25.09. – 05.10. – Alvona Gallery – Bane Milenkovic

There it is! Let’s keep enjoying the sun, the sea and the nights out and recharging our batteries for this winter.
