Although August is behind us, summer in Rabac still isn’t over. Neither according to the calendar nor regarding the weather. It is nice and warm; you can still go for a swim and then for a walk, or ride a bicycle, play tennis or enjoy the numerous interesting manifestations out of which I single out the following:

12 September A whole-evening concert by the Labin Town Orchestra and their guests from the island
of Krk awaits you. It will start at 8:30 pm.

18 – 20 September Seventh International Folklore Festival
Around 800 participants – folklore groups from Italy, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia and Croatia – will present their skills of folklore dancing. Seventh International Folklore Festival will officially open on 18 September at 6 pm on the waterfront in Rabac after which folklore group performances will follow. The second folklore groups evening will take place on 19 September while on 20 September a parade of folklore groups and the international festival award ceremony will be held after the mass.

18 – 20 September 50th International Junior Cycling Race

20 September Team Triathlon “Be mobile” (”Budi mobilan”)

A team triathlon “Be mobile” will take place at the Girandella beach in Rabac at 12:30 am. The team will consist of swimmers (500m), cyclists 3 x 3.5 km and runners (3.5 km). You can sign in for the competition at the Girandella beach from 11 to 12 am. The amount necessary to enter the competition is 100 kuna. Even if you don’t plan on participating, feel free to come and enjoy because the goal of the manifestation is to have fun and spend a day in a way which is good for our health.
