An event that has since years been attracting more and more fans of swimming, water-polo and jetski, the Porec dolphin, will take place also this year. It will be its eight edition, and the central event of this manifestation will be held on next Saturday (September 1st).

It is a recreative swimming marathon that addresses not only professional swimmers, but everyone, including recreative swimmers, who enjoys swimming and would like to check whether they are in good swimming form. Everyones who wants to join the recreative marathon will be given the option to choose between three lanes of different lengths and degrees of difficulty. These are:

o bronze dolphin - 1500 m
o silver dolphin - 3000 m
o gold dolphin - 5000 m

After Saturday and swimming, the manifestation will continue in the following weekend, during which, on Saturday September 8th, a water-polo tournament upon invitation will be held on the Town pool, with participation of various water-polo teams. At the same time (Saturday, 10 – 11 a.m. ) in the area of Peškera the official jetski training for the Croatian championship will take place, as well as the yacht regatta – cup of the region of Istria in the class “Optimist”.

On the next day, the town pool will be hosting once more a water-polo tournament, but this time it is intended for recreative swimmers. After the training on Saturday, Peškara will on Sunday be host to real races of jetski drivers, as well as the host to the second day of the yacht regatta.
