In the period from 7th till 14th August, all the streets and squares of the old part of the town of Porec will be animated by street artists from all over the world. What is going on is the 7th Street Art Festival and during the eight days of the duration of the Festival, the inhabitants from Porec and their guests will have the opportunity to enjoy various performances, street acrobatics, visual and artistic projects, musical and scenic performances… in more than 70 performances by 15 artists and groups from different corners of the Earth. Artists from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Croatia, Japan, Germany, USA, Spain, Switzerland, Great Britain will be present in Porec.

A special curiosity of this year’s Street Art Festival in Porec, as pointed out by the organizers, will be the performance of the German-Japanese duo from Post Theatre, with their own production prepared exclusively for the Porec street festival. The famous English director of the renowned theatre The Place from London, will also attend the Festival. He is also the founder of the European theatre network Aerowaves and their assembly next year should be held precisely in Porec.

Let’s mention a few performers who will entertain the spectators in Porec:

• The Group Naša djeca (Our kids) Porec – young theatre and dance fans and a break-dance group.

• Cia Coko Koco – acrobatics and non verbal humour performed by an interesting and unusual Spain-Argentine female comedian duo.

• Nino Retrete – the world of play and fantasy in a very emotional performance of Nico Retrete, a boy trapped in the body of an adult.

• Charlie the 2nd – one of the world’s best imitators of the famous Charlie Chaplin will be performing the ode to the world’s greatest comedy genius of all times.

• The Pitts – dynamic acrobatic-humorist show of brother and sister Pitt from Pittsville on the island of Tanzania.

• Truki - Trek – musician and puppet group performing the black-humor show “Hotel Crab”
