New Boat Line between Porec and Trieste

One small, but interesting tit-bit of news, is about a new boat line that will regularly connect Porec and Trieste. Specifically, on the 24th of March the Italian boat company Ustica opened a line that will connect Trieste to Istria by sea for the first time in two years. The sailing timetable can be found on the boat company’s official website.

The fast boats “Cris M” and “Fiammetta M” will sail this route daily except on Mondays. This will consist of two sailings in both directions. In addition to the departure and arrival ports of Trieste and Rovinj, they will also make stops in Piran and Porec.
