With the long, winter days behind us, here comes the sunny spring perfect for recreational cycling along the well-tended Istrian cycling trails. I invite you to join the official race of professional cyclists and the recreational Istria Valamar Terra Magica cycling event which will take place from 5 to 7 May.
The Valamar Club Tamaris Hotel located in the greenery of a Mediterranean Lanterna peninsula will welcome the participants. The cycling routes will cover the surrounding area of the town of Porec whose typical Mediterranean atmosphere is adorned by numerous cultural and historical monuments. A race of 28 kilometres will take place on the first day; on the second day a 25 kilometres long MTB cycling event and the XCM race for the Croatia and Slovenia Cup in the length of 50, i.e. 65 kilometres will be held, and the event will end with the third stage of the race, 45 kilometres long, which will take place on the third day. The ascent will range from 150 to 1700 meters.
Medals, cups, and awards in the form of prize stays at the Valamar objects, have been prepared for the most successful participants.
