The 17th in a row Wine and Wine Production Equipment Fair, one of the leading wine exhibitions in Croatia and the surrounding region, will take place in Porec from 29 April to 2 May. Vinistra 2010 will gather a record-breaking number of 535 wine samples and 130 participants: wine makers, olive oil and homemade prosciutto producers. The gala opening will take place in the Žatika sports hall on 29 April at 1 p.m. during which all Istrian wine, olive oil, brandy and prosciutto fans and experts will have the opportunity of satisfying their curious palates.

On Friday, 30 April, the Day of the town of Porec will be celebrated, honouring Liberation Day. We single out the following from the rich programme we have prepared for you: the flower promenade, a traditional festivity for children which will start at 10 a.m., and the opening of the Rally All Stars event during which you will have the opportunity of enjoying the performance by Enko & the band. The younger ones looking for a great night out can have fun at the Rally All Stars party starting at midnight at the Porec “Saint and Sinner” night club.

On Saturday, 1 May, the international Labour Day will be celebrated as well. You will have the opportunity to relax at the town beach and enjoy the beautiful nature and walks along the sea, as well as a rich entertainment programme. Beach volleyball tournament will take place at 9 a.m. and a recreational cycling manifestation will start at 10 a.m. The traditional briškula and trešete card games tournaments will start at 11 a.m., attracting both the young and the old participants. The Porec majorettes will honour the guests with their performance at 12 p.m. and you will have the opportunity of dancing throughout the whole day to the music of the Baredinesaurus and Banana bands, as well as enjoying the rich gastronomic offer.
