Seven days of Vivaldi in Istria
Seven Istrian towns will in the period between August 12th and 19th have the privilege to enjoy seven performances of Vivaldi’s “4 seasons” by the Italian chamber orchestra ‘Venezia Concerto’. In Porec the concert will take place on Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, August 15th, on Wednesday, and before performing in Porec the Italian musicians will present their interpretation of this everlasting classic to the audience in Vrsar (August 12th), Medulin (August 13th) and Premantura (August 14th).
After Porec, three towns will follow - Umag (August 16th), Novigrad (August 18th) and Rovinj (August 19th). Organizers say that the objective of this tour is strengthening the ties of friendship between Croatia and Italy.
Photography exhibition ‘Beautiful creatures’ in Porec
On Thursday, August 16th, the interesting and controversial Croatian photographer, Stephan Lupino opens the exhibition of his works in Porec. Exhibition under the name ‘Beautiful creatures’ presents Lupino’s new collection of photos and it will take place in Mala galerija (Small Gallery) of the Open university in Porec. The exhibition runs until September 16th, every day except on Sundays, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
