Blue Flag is an international exclusive voluntary eco-label for beaches and marinas, which was introduced in Europe in 1987.
This prestigious award is presented to beaches which fulfil the strict criteria dealing with water quality, preservation of the coast, facilities and level of service offered to bathers, and so forth.
We bring you here the list of 11 Valamar beaches in Istria which have been awarded the Blue Flag, along with the link to tourist facilities they are part of:
