You either love or hate jazz. I am a great fan of jazz and keep track of events related to jazz. I enjoy jazz the most at the jazz festival in Pore?, but also in Pula as well. 13th Jazz Festival began on July 18 in Lapidarij (Lapidarium) in Pore?. It was opened by a concert of Marko Tolja & Oljajazz Band (quartet). Further 10 concerts of wide range and styles were held till September.
International Jazz Festival Pula 2008 takes place in Pula, where concerts are held once a month.

These are not traditional festivals we are used to, where the musicians perform on the same stage, playing as short as possible and during the same evening in the most cases. Jazz festivals in Pore? and Pula are made of concerts held once a month and we can enjoy concerts of excellent musicians during the whole year. Come and join me and all jazz lovers in Pula on next Saturday, October 25 at 9 pm on a concert of a trio made out of Marc Ribot (guitar), Henry Grimes (string bass) and Chad Taylor (drums).
