Tue, Aug 12, 2008
On August 5th, Arena in Pula was a host to the ballet Ensemble of the Russian Imperial ballet, Academic Symphony Orchestra led by the conductor Miroslav Homen, soloists and the mixed choir from University of J. Dobrila from Pula, and Kosovo Philharmonic orchestra and choir.
Arena in Pula was filled with visitors who enjoyed the unforgettable performance and experience of “Carmina Burana” by Carl Orff and the ballet “Carmen” by George Biset. It was another supreme experience which established excellent communication between several thousands of visitors and performers in Pula Amphitheatre.
On August 23rd, Arena in Pula would like to extend an invitation to all fans of Toni Cetinski to come and dance to the tunes of the new hit song “I die 100 times a day” and other songs from the new album to be presented at the premiere concert, which is to start at 21,30. Toni will be joined by various guest performers. In the humanitarian spirit, all the proceeds from the concert will be donated to the school in Veli Vrh in Pula, which was devastated in the fire this past winter.
