There is a time of year when our cars, motorcycles and other motor-running beasts are at rest (more or less, of course). They retreat for the winter and sleep in relatively warm garages of kind owners, in which the temperature doesn’t drop below zero even during the coldest winter days. With the arrival of the more beautiful, sunny days that we have had the opportunity to enjoy over the past weeks, it is time to set off on an adventure on wheels, one you will find on the island of Krk.
The “Spring on wheels” manifestation will take place on Saturday, 1 May, starting from the Krk waterfront and since we all, to a certain degree, yearn for wind in our hair, is there anything better and more logical than making that wish come true? To travel is certainly one of the wishes people make the most; to discover and learn about new landscapes and different culture, or to meet new people.
There is nothing to it! All you need to do is visit this destination. Sit on your own or rented motorcycle, scooter or bicycle and set off into the unknown. In order for you to feel as good as possible, we recommend that you visit one of the Krk agroturist farms to refresh both your body and spirit and enjoy the already well-known indigenous delicacies. And let me end with a bikers’ saying: “Amateurs choose a destination and go; bikers choose the direction and put the pedal to the metal”. Have a safe trip!
