On Saturday 2nd August 2008, in the area of Babin Kuk in Dubrovnik there will be the traditional summer manifestation called ”The Night of Dubrava”, featuring numerous Croatian musicians, followed by the preparation of delicious culinary specialties for all visitors and guests of Babin Kuk.

The Night of Dubrava will be held on all external areas of the largest hotel complex in Dubrovnik – in the central park, on the square Trg od Fontane and on the Marin Drzic Square. The central stage will be situated in the park, where renowned Croatian popular music performers – pop-groups Magazin and E.N.I. – will perform. Traditional guests of all larger manifestations on Babin Kuk, the tamburitza band Bosutski Becari, will perform on the Marin Držic Square, while on the square Trg od Fontane the people of Dubrovnik and their guests will be entertained by the famous Dubrovnik duo Ilko and Naser – Duo Domižana.

The Night of Dubrava also offers an especially attractive animation program with entertaining games like pulling the rope and similar games, created and managed by Valamar animation team.

The manifestation Night of Dubrava 2008 will also offer an abundance of typical Croatian specialties with autochthonous wines and good music, which guarantees a good time. This is the largest summer festivity in the wider Dubrovnik area, and in the previous years it was visited by more than ten thousand people, the guests of Dubrovnik-Babin Kuk Hotel and visitors from the wider Dubrovnik area and the County of Dubrovacko-Neretvanska.
