Famous guitarist Paco de Lucia in Dubrovnik

Maestro Paco de Lucia, one of the most significant and influential flamenco guitarists of all time came to Dubrovnik where he held one of the concerts of his “Paco de Lucia and band Live on Tour 2010″ world tour at the Revelin Fort on 10 June this year.
Paco de Lucia arrived to Croatia with his ensemble which includes first-class musicians Niño Josele (guitar), Antonio Serrano (piano), Alain Perez (bass) and Piranha (percussion), vocalists Cristo Heredia and David de Jacoba, as well as Farruco, the dancer.
One of the world’s greatest guitar players was born in 1947 in the Spanish province of Cadiz as Francisco Sanchez Gomez. He started playing guitar at the age of five and started performing across Spain when he was just a young boy. As his abundant music career developed, he became the synonym for the Spanish flamenco. He recorded his first album in 1965, followed by more than 25 albums that have won hundreds of prestigious awards and earned more praises than one could even count.
